Don't Forget The Obvious:

Dress professionally

Bring several copies of your resume

Maintain eye contact

Be Prepared:

Check out the company's web site before you go to the interview

Read the company's brochures (Your recruiter should have these)

Know The Open Position:

You can't sell yourself without knowing the skills the interviewer is looking for. This is largely your recruiter's responsibility

Articulate Your Accomplishments:

Well before going to the interview, write out in detail what skills you have

When telling the interviewer about your skills talk in terms of how this can help them. EX: "My two years Visual Basic programming experience at XYZ co. will allow me to hit the ground running here at ABC co. The project I worked on there is similar to yours and that will shorten my learning curve here."

Show Up Early And Have A Phone # And Contact To Call If You Run Late:

Arriving early helps you relax

Allow a buffer in case of unforeseen delays

Smile, Smile, & Smile Some More:

If you are interested in the job, tell the interviewer that

Questions To Ask:

At the end of the interview, count on them asking you if you have any questions. DON'T SAY NO! If you can't think of any be prepared with one or two of these:
      - How would my performance be measured here at ABC Company?
      - Where do you see this position, or ABC Company in 5 years?
      - In your estimation, what type of person thrives at ABC Company?
